Make America
The political landscape went through a tectonic shift during the 2016 US presidential election. Over time, as the fields narrowed and Clinton and Trump emerged as the candidates, Americans became more entrenched within their own parties. Political affiliation and personal identity began to merge. When Donald Trump was elected, shockwaves reverberated in many liberal cities where left-leaning voters could never have conceived of his victory. Passionate protests and rallies have continued steadily even after the election. In Berkeley, freedom of speech rallies held by Trump supporters have turned into violent clashes between the Trump supporters and anti-fascist anarchists and anti-Trump protesters.
